Frequently Asked Questions – Private Therapy Clinic UAE

How are therapy sessions structured?

Each therapy session lasts for 50 minutes. Once you begin treatment, the same weekly time slot will be reserved for you to help maintain consistency and therapeutic progress.

Regular weekly attendance is recommended to maximise the benefits of therapy. If sessions become irregular, your therapist may not be able to continue working with you unless you’ve successfully completed a weekly course of treatment and transitioned into a maintenance phase.

Please be aware that cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice — or unattended appointments — are charged in full, except in cases of genuine emergency.

For evening and weekend appointments, as reception services are unavailable during those times, your therapist will meet you directly at the scheduled time.

Where is Private Therapy Clinic UAE located?

We offer both online therapy and in-person appointments.

Our in-person sessions take place at:

What therapy approaches do you offer?

Our team offers a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches designed to meet your individual goals and preferences. These include:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a structured, short-term therapy that focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. It equips clients with practical tools to manage emotional challenges.

Best suited for: Anxiety disorders, depression, low self-esteem, stress, and everyday difficulties.

Psychodynamic Therapy

This approach delves into the underlying emotional and relational patterns shaped by early life experiences. It aims to build self-awareness and foster emotional resilience.

Best suited for: Long-term emotional issues, recurring anxiety or depression, interpersonal difficulties, unresolved trauma, and attachment-related concerns.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy combines elements from multiple approaches — such as CBT and psychodynamic therapy — to create a personalised treatment plan. Therapists tailor sessions to your unique circumstances and goals.

Best suited for: Clients seeking a flexible, individualised therapy experience without a strong preference for a specific method.

If you’re unsure which approach is right for you, we’re happy to help match you with a therapist who offers a blended or tailored method.
